The program itself is explained right on the homepage. Information on the lite membership is outlined and a large play button is very visible. There are no hoops to jump through to figure out how to get started with Console Classix. The details of the full membership program are also posted clearly and concisely. Most of the information is accessible at first glance, requiring little navigation through the website.
There is a section for members to sign in. Additionally, there are listings of new games. Of course, these are new additions to the retro library, not newly released games. To the right of this, there is a small listing of recently posted game reviews. This is a review of video games that is compiled by members, as their user names are listed as the authors of the reviews.

Membership can be cancelled at any time by logging into the account and cancelling. Console Classix reminds users that deleting the downloaded games from the gamer’s computer does not cancel membership.

While the play time is unlimited, the video games available in the lite version are from a limited library and support limited platforms. Console Classix is a pretty rudimentary website. In this case, that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Customer support is limited to a Help link.
